9月19日，乌斯坦挪威船厂与船东Nexans Marine Operations AS签订一艘铺缆船的新造合同。
该船船长149.9m，型宽31m，动态定位DP3，住舱人数90人，具备13500t载缆和铺缆能力，其中主甲板上缆框承载能力为10000t，甲板下3500t，另外还配备450t的光缆缆框。该船为长距离铺缆而设计，能够满足多种海底电缆的铺设和维修。
乌斯坦船厂于2021年向船东Nexans Marine Operations AS交付铺缆船Nexans Aurora，本次合同将要建造的新船在Nexans Aurora基础上做了升级设计，将更适合恶劣海况的施工作业。两艘船都由Skipsteknisk公司设计。
